Seniors Rehab Cambridge

Know of a loved one who is unsteady while walking? Has a history of falls? Whose balance is not as good as it used to be?

Cambridge Physiotherapy is here to help. Our Physiotherapist has worked with seniors in the community for over 10 years, working on fall prevention training and education. We will work with you and educate you on exercises that will enhance your balance and also provide you with the tools you need to prevent a fall. To do this we will test your joints, your strength, find out what activities you have the most difficulty with, assess your gait and balance, and give you a goal-oriented plan to reach your health care goals.

As well, we can help you with getting a suitable mobility aid (cane or walker), depending on our assessment. We are also registered with the Ministry of Health with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) to help you get funding for wheelchairs. We do the assessment and help you choose a suitable wheelchair for your needs.
